Why play Pirates baseball?
The OTB Pirates is for the serious skilled baseball player. The Pirates play a tough schedule with senior, junior and rookie divisions. The seniors yearly trip to Southern California provides a great baseball experience against top quality teams. You become the best by competing against the best.
Our junior team plays a schedule against teams that generally have an average roster age two years older than ours. We are looking for dedicated players that have a 'baseball first' mentality, and aspirations of playing college level and beyond. Several former Pirates are have played minor league professional baseball. Every year we have professional and college scouts in attendance at some of our games.
