Take the NYS Thruway west to I-287 West/South. Go about 9 miles to exit 58-Oakland. After exit turn left onto Ramapo Valley Road (Rt.202). Go 1.3 miles to Long Hill Rd (CR-2). Make a left on Long Hill Rd and go one mile to Breakneck Road. Make a right on Breakneck Rd. Go 0.6 miles and continue on Berdan Road. Follow to school entrance on the left.

Take GSP to Route 17 South. Follow Route 17 South to Route 4 East. Follow Route 4 East for about 4 1/2 miles to Teaneck Road exit. Follow Teaneck Road South to the third light. (First light is a mini strip mall with pizza parlor, bagel shop on the right); (second light is Cedar Lane with municipal buildings); third light is Lindbergh Boulevard with hospital on the right).
Turn left at third light onto Lindbergh Boulevard. Follow to the end of the road where it dead ends into Glenwood Avenue. Turn right onto Glenwood Avenue (Little League fields on left and right). Follow to the first right (one-way sign) and turn right onto Letter Avenue and into Hawthorne School.
